About & Contact
Megan Hattie Stahl is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and Oregon native.
In 2017, her experimental documentary short Be Cute, Now! screened at festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest and at the International Festival of Emerging Documentary in Paris, France.
A lifelong musician, she often creates music videos for her own songs, and co-composed the score for her latest work, the Oregon-shot documentary short Laura in Search of Teeth. Besides a love for music, her work is influenced by her three years spent living and studying in Paris, her fascination with the people around her, and a sense of nostalgia. She recently completed a one-month documentary residency in Casaprota, Italy during which she filmed locals singing the songs of their childhood.
